Perfume-Making Expertise
For the Essences by Diptyque series, the Maison called on a group of master perfumers and long-standing friends: Fabrice Pellegrin, Alexandra Carlin, Nathalie Cetto and Olivier Pescheux.
Each was given free rein to craft an olfactory interpretation of these natural treasures, paying particular attention to the choice of ingredients, carefully selected for their exquisite scent.

Bottles that ford the gap between yesteryear and today, here and beyond
For this collection of extraordinary fragrances, the Maison Diptyque has conjured up a fresh take on its ‘heritage’ bottle, embedding the glass oval into the bottle like a window onto the world, the scent’s name inscribed in raised lettering and the opaque black cap contrasting beautifully with the diaphanous glass. This simple, sophisticated piece is wrapped in a fabric pouch embellished with an oval and set in an elegant black cardboard box. Diptyque collaborated with illustrator Nigel Peake, who painted a series of delicate watercolours that unfold like invitations to explore the collection’s five fragrances. The artist deftly combines realism and the imaginary to express his vision of raw, poetic nature. The eco-designed packaging and bottles are made from recyclable materials, including reusable boxes and lightweight glass. The bottles can be refilled in stores.
