Creating an olfactive ambiance begins with the selection of a vessel. Rattan sticks dipped in perfumed concentrate arrange naturally with enough space to allow the scent to pervade the room. The glass stopper seals the vessel to stop scent diffusion at will.

Crafting the mould | The glassworker produces the mould according to designs drawn by the Jean-Marc Gady studio for Diptyque.
Blowing the glass | The glass is poured into the mould and blown into the desired shape—the molten glass takes form under the intensity of the heat.
The 100 ml and 200 ml bottles are made using automated processes, while some of the steps involved in creating the 2 L bottles are handled manually.
