The enchanted winter forest

Deep in winter. A warm glow spills from an artist’s workshop hidden among the pine trees. Wood shavings gather on the floor. Hands carve, sculpt, and bring whimsical figures to life. Beneath the flicker of candlelight, the forest begins to stir. Wooden creatures dance. Stars glimmer overhead. The ballet has begun.

For the 2026 festive season, Diptyque unveils an enchanted forest imagined with artist Jean-Simon Roch. Inspired by the enduring warmth and beauty of wood, the collection gathers limited-edition scented candles, Eaux de parfum, gift sets, and objets d’art into a world alive with poetic characters and winter traditions. Sapin (Pine Tree), the emblematic scent of the season, fills the air with the warm, enveloping notes of towering evergreens beneath the starry night sky. Decorations appear as if carved directly from the forest itself, while four artist-crafted ornaments transform the holiday tree into a stage for dancing figures and woodland reveries.

A dialogue between artistry and savoir-faire. Between nature and imagination. An offering of moments of true poetry. Within Diptyque’s enchanted forest, the festive season unfolds beneath the scent of pine, wood, glimmering stars, and warm candlelight. An invitation to enter the dance.

A noble and warm material, wood is one of the signature elements of Diptyque decorative objects. This item is carved in a woodturners' workshop in the Jura region of France. Ambassadors of an ancestral, artisanal know-how, the woodturners shape a piece of wood by spinning it on its axis using a wood lathe and shaping tools. Variations in the wood's color are a natural result of this artisanal manufacturing process.
