Diptyque gives new life to time-honed techniques and tried-and-tested know-how to guarantee excellence and to celebrate and safeguard craftsmanship for future generations.

For Diptyque, it takes the passion of a craftsman or woman to produce genuinely outstanding objects. This is why we develop our creations with artisans from France or Europe who excel in their fields. Many of our objects require hand-crafting at one or more stages, while others are entirely handmade. Each celebrates the ingenuity of our partner designers, glassmakers, ceramists, master jewellers and expert perfumers.
Craftsmanship requires patience and provides a guarantee of design excellence. For example, each of our large-format candles is hand-enamelled in the workshops of our long-standing partner, Porcelaine du Lot Virebent. Drawing on their meticulous expertise, our partner craftworkers reveal the subtle nuances in each exceptional object they create. This process can take several weeks, from the initial spark of inspiration to the hand-pouring of scented wax by our waxmaker in Provence.
Diptyque creations are entirely handmade, including our Decoration Collection and our large-format scented candles for indoor and outdoor spaces
of our container and box components are manufactured in France and 96% in Europe

Diptyque has always been committed to creating products of the very highest quality. We are convinced that a sober, more considered approach and a dedication to circularity are essential components of this pursuit of excellence.

In developing our product formulas, Diptyque exceeds European regulatory standards – the strictest in the world – as part of our uncompromising approach to safety and quality.

Diptyque is committed to continuously improving our products so as to reduce their environmental impact.

Reinvented materials, repurposed objects, limited editions, patience and respect for local artisanal expertise… In keeping with our founders’ philosophy, the Decoration collection is, by nature, “eco-conceived”.

Diptyque products can be refilled, recycled, repaired and reused to offer them a new and longer lease of life.
